Yesterday went well with embracing the suck. Today has been a little hit and miss, because I forgot to eat for six hours because I got rolling on work, which threw everything off, but I'm still good - all suckage still embraced and all that.
I'm exercising, which isn't a big deal because I almost always do. I'm eating right, and just giving myself the tiny choices (or lack thereof) really does help. I had my camera set up today for my new caterpillar painting (he'll be on the bottom of the post) and I thought I should try taking a new head-shot because it's been ages. Unfortunately, they still all came out looking like me. Go figure! Maybe after I get my hair done next week...
Oh, and another thing? Never ever blow up your face to full resolution x 1000, or whatever it was on my computer. It was an accident, I hit the wrong key, and suddenly I was staring at my nose-hairs. There's something grossly disturbing, yet fascinating about being able to see every pore and wrinkle. You sorta sit there and go "Wow, so this is how it goes eh? Grandma was right about moisturizing though, going to get on that. Wait, what is that? Where did that come from *running off to mirror* well I'll be darned, when did I get that?"
Seriously, it's like a bad TLC special or something, and you just can't look away from it no matter how bad it gets. *ahem* I'll try again some other time.
I'm ramping up my art stuff, and really working hard. In addition to that, I have started making vlogs on Mondays for my art blog, and I thought I would include it here today too:

The kids are FINALLY back in school after the long week off. I wanted to run around my house, throwing streamers, and partying... but I settled for getting some work done instead! I hope you all are having a nice Monday!

Love the picture! We were cleaning house last night and working in the kitchen. Bill saw the picture we have of yours and said, "I just love that. So glad we stopped by that day and met her." One of these days, I'm coming after another one!!!

We've been writing back and forth to each other for almost a year and I learn something new about you every time you host a vlog - such as the fact that I had no idea how long your hair was! I've always wanted long hair like that but now think I'm too old to pull that off. Beautiful on you.
ReplyDeleteNo help on the glasses. And I did the test and was able to uncover what was hiding behind my thumb, so no help there, either. boy, I'm not very useful this post, am I?
